AN ORDINANCE VACATING THE FINAL PLAT OF STONE HILL ESTATES, PHASE I, CITY OF OSWEGO, LABETTE COUNTY, KANSAS. LOCATED IN THE METES AND BOUNDS TRACTS IN THE SOUTH HALF OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 21, TOWNSHIP 33 SOUTH, RANGE 21 EAST, CITY OF OSWEGO, LABETTE COUNTY, KANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF OSWEGO, KANSAS:
Section 1:That the Oswego Subdivision, entitled Stone Hill Estates Phase I Plat, as described below,shall be vacated.
Section 2:The City shall vacate the following Plat recorded with the Labette County Register of Deeds:
All of a tract of land being a part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 21, Township 33 South, Range 21 East, in Labette County, Kansas and described as commencing at an iron pin found at the center of the Section 21; thence South 88:45’17” West, along the South line of Northwest Quarter, 661.56’ to an iron pin found at the Southeast corner of the West one-half of the Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter; thence North 02:08’48” West, along the East line of the West one-half of the Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter, 30.00 feet to an iron pin set on the North line of county road 11500 and being the point of beginning; thence South 88:45’17” West, along said North line of roadway, 503.96 feet to an iron pin set: thence North 01:23’08” West, 276.09 feet to an iron pin set, thence North 02:23’25” East, 354.65 feet to an iron pin set; thence North 01:35’31” West, 670.57 feet to an iron pin set, said point being on the North line of the South one-half of the Northwest quarter of said Section 21; thence North 88:22’11” East, 465.79 feet to an iron pin found at the Northeast corner of the West one-half of the Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section 21; thence South 02:08’48” East,1302.69 feet to the point of beginning and containing 14.36 acres more or less.

Section 3:This ordinance shall take effect and be in force 30 days after it has been published once in the official city newspaper ,unless one or more interested parties file a written protest before the expiration of such time in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Oswego.
