ORD NO 1433 Rezoning

ORDINANCE NO. 1433

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF OSWEGO, KANSAS AND IN COMPLIANCE WITH ARTICLE 26 OF ZONING REGULATIONS ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1323, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN DESCRIBED REAL ESTATE FROM (R-1A) SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO (IP-1) LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF OSWEGO, KANSAS:

 

SECTION 1. That the following described properties are hereby rezoned from (R-1A) single family residential to (IP-1) Light Industrial district, to wit:

627 Ohio: Beginning at the Northeast corner of the Northwest ¼ of Section 21, Township 33 South, Range 21 East, Labette County, Kansas, then South 210 feet along the ¼ section line, then West 180 feet, then North 210 feet to the section line, then East 180 feet to the point of beginning; EXCEPT a tract described as: Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 1, Block 19, Cowell’s Addition, then West 115 feet along the section line, then South 24 feet, then East 115 feet to a point 24 feet South of the Southeast corner of Lot 1, then North 24 feet to the point of beginning.

 

609 Ohio: The South half of the following; Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 1, Block 19, Cowell’s Addition to the City of Oswego, thence West 150 feet, thence South to the North line of Section 21, Township 33, Range 21, thence East 150 feet to a point due South of the point of beginning thence North to point of beginning,

 

And

Beginning at a point on the North line of Section 21, Township 33, Range 21, due South of the Northeast corner of Lot 1, Block 19, Cowell’s Addition to the City of Oswego, thence South 24 feet, thence West 114 feet, thence North 24 feet to the North line of Section 21, thence East along said line to the point of beginning, the same being in the NW ¼ of Section 21, Township 33, Range 21 East of the 6th P.M., Labette County, Kansas.

 

SECTION 2. Except as herein amended and previously amended, the Zoning Map of the City of Oswego, Kansas will remain in full force and effect. No change is made in the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Oswego, Kansas.

SECTION 3. That the Mayor be authorized to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this change.

SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication in the official City newspaper.

 

ADOPTED by the Governing Body and approved by the Mayor of the City of Oswego, Kansas,
