ORDINANCE NO. 1295
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF OSWEGO, KANSAS AND IN
COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 22 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1107, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING
OF CERTAIN DESCRIBED REAL ESTATE FROM (R) RURAL TO (RL) LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF OSWEGO, KANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the following described real estate is hereby rezoned from (R) Rural District to
(RL) Low Density Residential, to wit:
A portion of the Northeast Quarter of Section 17, Township 33 South, Range 21
East of the 6th P.M., Labette County, Kansas, bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast Corner of said Northeast Quarter; thence West along the South line of said
Northeast Quarter a distance of 600 fee; thence North and parallel with the East line of said Northeast
Quarter a distance of 648.26 feet to the true point of beginning of the following described tract; thence
North and parallel with said East line a distance of 350 feet, more or less to the North line of the South
half of the North half of the South half of said Northeast Quarter; thence West along said North line a
distance of 383.40 feet; thence South and parallel with said East line a distance of 350 feet; thence East
a distance of 383.40 feet, more or less to the true point of beginning. This tract contains 3.08 acres, more
or less, Labette County, Kansas.
SECTION 2. Except as herein amended and previously amended, the Zoning Map of the City of Oswego,
Kansas will remain in full force and effect. No change is made in the Zoning Ordinance of the City of
SECTION 3. That the Mayor be authorized to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this change.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication in the official City newspaper.
ADOPTED by the Governing Body and approved by the Mayor of the City of Oswego, Kansas,
this 15th day of October, 2012.
