BIG NEWS! The Oswego Chamber of Commerce has just extended the deadline and released details of the categories and cash award amounts for the Spring Spruce-up Challenge. Here are the two categories and prizes to be awarded.

CURB APPEAL CATEGORY - $150 Prize
   1. Improvements done May 1st to July 31, 2015 
   2. Submit Before and After Photos and Entry Form
This is for improvements done to the outside of the home, painting, building a deck, replacing the roof, new siding, landscaping and general "curb appeal".

SPRUCE-UP CATEGORY - Up to $250 Prize
   1. "Sprucing-up" done May 1st to July 31, 2015
   2. Submit Before and After Photos and Entry Form
This is for sprucing up by removal of trash, debris, cleaning up brush, leaves, and general cleaning up of clutter. Significant clean-up of clutter and debris will be required to receive the $250 prize.

Before and after photos are required and will be sent to the Chamber's selection committee without names so the judges will not know who the properties belong to. After the winners are announced they will be contacted to discuss whether they want their names and/or photos published in the paper.

Please note on the Entry Form one form is to enter the "Curb Appeal" Category and the other is for the "Spruce-up" Category
