Parks & Community Foundation Fundraiser
The Oswego Parks and Community Foundation is raising funds to replace the West Shelter at Riverside Park. Plans are to replace the existing shelter with one that is closer in style to the other shelters in the park. The State Historical Society has approved of these plans.
The Parks Foundation hopes to build the shelter in the Spring of 2017 and has asked the City to partner with them on the project. The committee's goal is to raise most of the required funds for the project.
The committee is asking for your support of this improvement to our beautiful park. A display and fund has been set up at Labette Bank and Commercial Bank. If you or your organization would like to support this project by making a donation it would be greatly appreciated. Oswego is very fortunate to have such a unique and beautiful park as well as citizens that appreciate this special treasure.
