ORDINANCE NO. 1453
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF OSWEGO, KANSAS AND IN COMPLIANCE WITH ARTICLE 26 OF ZONING REGULATIONS ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1323, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN DESCRIBED REAL ESTATE FROM (R-1A) SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO (CP-1) GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF OSWEGO, KANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the following described real estate is hereby rezoned from (R-1A) single family residential to (CP-1) general commercial district, to wit:
Commencing at a point on half section line between the Northeast ¼ and the Southeast ¼ of Section 17, 25 feet West of the Southeast corner of the Northeast ¼ of Section 17, thence Southwardly 175 feet parallel to the East line of Section 17, thence Westwardly 150 feet through an angle of 88 degrees 56 minutes to the right, thence Northwardly through an angle of 91 degrees 4 minutes to the right to the North boundary line of the Southeast ¼ of Section 17, thence Eastwardly 150 feet, through an angle of 91 degrees 4 minutes right to the point of beginning, all in Section 17, Township 33, Range 21 East of the 6th P.M., Labette County, Kansas.
SECTION 2. Except as herein amended and previously amended, the Zoning Map of the City of Oswego, Kansas will remain in full force and effect. No change is made in the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Oswego, Kansas.
SECTION 3. That the Mayor be authorized to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this change.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication in the official City newspaper.
