City Superintendent Kevin Frogley reports beginning Monday, May 16 the city will be adding higher quantities of chlorine to the treated water.  You may notice a stronger chlorine smell and taste for about three weeks.  You do not need to take any special precautions - the water will be fine to drink and cook with.  This is being done to disinfect the lines prior to starting the process of tying new water lines into the system.
