ORDINANCE NO. 1482
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT ALLOWING FOR A BED & BREAKFAST TYPE FACILITY ON BOTH RESIDENTIAL LOTS AT 117 COMMERCIAL AND 521 WISCONSIN ST., OSWEGO, LABETTE COUNTY, KANSAS.
WHEREAS, application has been made by B&K Rentals, Emmett and Kim Burton, owners, requesting a conditional use permit to allow for a bed & breakfast type facility on both residential zoned lots at 117 Commercial St. and 521 Wisconsin St., Oswego, Kansas; and,
WHEREAS, the Oswego Planning Commission of Oswego, Kansas conducted a public hearing on Case No. CUP-2022-02 and CUP-2022-03, respectively, following published notification in accordance with K.S.A. 12-741, et. seq., as amended, on December 19, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the Oswego Planning Commission based on information presented and discussed at the hearing, has recommended that the Governing Body of the City of Oswego, Kansas, approve the Conditional Use Permit to allow for a bed & breakfast type facility on both residential lots at 117 Commercial St. and 521 Wisconsin St, Oswego, Kansas, be approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF OSWEGO, KANSAS, THAT:
Section 1. A Conditional Use Permit allowing for a bed & breakfast type facility on both residential lots at 117 Commercial St. and 521 Wisconsin St. is approved.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its publication in the official city newspaper.
