August 2022 newsOswegofest planned for October 8th!


Oswegofest plans are in full swing! It will be held held at Riverside Park from 11:00am until 3:00pm! Several activities have been planned for this year! Peyton Kessler is heading the Car Show this year, any questions about the car show Peyton can be reached at 620-423-7245.


The Medallion Hunt will start the week of Oswegofest, there will be attractions, and inflatables for allages! The armbands for this year will be $5 and will be available the day of the event! There will be a dog costume contest, baby contest, petting zoo, Photo Scavenger Hunt and Adult Spelling Bee.

Come make a Splash!
Summer has just begun and the temperatures are rising so come cool off at the City Pool. The pool’s hours are 1:00pm to 6:30pm. Admission is only $1.00 per person! You may also rent the pool for a pool party. For more information you may call the Pool at 620-795-4913. If no one answers there is a answering machine just leave your name and phone number and they will get back with you.

Folks! This is an event that you nor your stomach is going to want to miss! And all for a great cause!


Help us kick off our fundraising by participating in the best bbq in town cooked by some pretty competitive teams. We will have cars, trucks and bikes there for a mini-show with plaques to the winners.


People's choice will be determined by purchasing a plate for $10 where each patron may sample the teams BBQ and voting for their favorite! The teams will be competing in Beans, Chicken, Dessert, Pork Butt and Pork Ribs (bone in) and Peo-ple's choice of whatever they decide to wow you with!


For the car/truck/bike show we will be having 1st, 2nd and 3rd places winners for each category (car, truck, bike) and they will receive a plaque. This is a FUNDRAISER for the Oswego Splash Pad. Voting for car show awards will be com-pleted by purchasing a ticket for $1 or 15 tickets for $10 and voting for your favorite car/truck/bike. Winners with the most tickets will receive the plaque. THERE WILL BE NO FORMAL JUDGES!
