Feb 2020 City Chief Strickland Retires From Fire Department and Jon Eck appointed as Chief

At the February Council meeting, John Strickland was recog-nized for retiring from the Fire Department. Strickland has served on the Fire Department for 31 years, 6 of those years serving as Fire Chief. Mayor Chapman appointed Jon Eck as Fire Chief. Eck has been on the department for 30 years. He has served as Assistant Chief since 2014.
